Kiln-dried hardwood lumber & timbers in Kansas City
Kiln-dried, surfaced hardwood lumber and timbers sawn to order. Stock changes week to week, so call or text to see what’s on hand. We’re open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 to 4.
Domestic hardwoods
- Black walnut: rich color, ideal for fine furniture
- White oak, including quarter sawn and rift sawn
- Cherry: warm color that deepens with age
- Hickory & pecan: dense and durable, great for high-use surfaces
- Birch, plus ash when available
Exotic hardwoods: we also keep a small selection of imported hardwoods. Call or text to ask what’s in stock.
Drying
We dry our lumber in our own iDRY vacuum kiln, and a Nyle L200 dehumidification kiln is being set up at the new yard. Our lumber is ready for furniture and cabinet work.
Our guarantee: Every board and slab in our wood store is kiln dried, and we guarantee it’s dry and free of insects. If you’re not satisfied, bring it back and we’ll make it right or refund your purchase.

About our timbers: Timbers are usually sawn fresh to order. Occasionally we have one already milled and air drying. We offer end grain sealing and Tim-bor borate treatment on all milled timbers to help protect against insects and decay, included at no extra charge.
Need something we don’t stock? We keep the common sizes on hand, and we can saw special orders to your specs. Because special orders have to be sawn and dried, plan on a turnaround of several months.
